Love fixing things, staying active, and being part of a great team? We’re looking for a Facility Maintenance Rep to help keep our Planet Fitness clubs in top shape! You’ll be the go-to person making sure everything from gym equipment to showers is working smoothly—basically, a behind-the-scenes hero for our members and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance tasks using various hand and occasional power tools.
  • Travel between multiple Planet Fitness locations in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties to address facility needs.
  • Diagnose and repair minor issues before they escalate into major problems.
  • Assist senior maintenance technicians with larger or two-person jobs.
  • Maintain and repair gym equipment, tanning beds, HydroMassage machines, restrooms, showers, TVs, ceiling tiles, and more.
Qualifications:
Experience or knowledge of the following areas:
  • Basic Drywall
  • Basic Tile Work
  • Basic Electrical
  •  Basic Plumbing
  • Basic computer skills.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and identify tasks that need attention without direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Comfortable interacting professionally and respectfully with staff and members.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in a skilled trade is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
