Nurse Aide
Location:
Hannah Pet Hospital, Tigard, Oregon
Hours: Day shift TBD, Swing shift: 1:30pm-11:30pm (4 days a week)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Aide to join our veterinary team during our night shift. In this role, you will assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in providing high-quality care to our furry patients. Your responsibilities will involve both clinical and administrative tasks, making this an integral position within our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and handling of animals for examinations and treatments.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and behaviors of pets during their stay.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Provide basic care for animals, including feeding, bathing, and exercising.
  • Assist in administering medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian or veterinary technician.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding care and treatment plans.
  • Support the team in various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting is preferred but not required.
