Weโ€™re hiring aย Helicopter Pilotย to provide medical air transportation services to Air Evac Lifeteamโ€™s customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

Responsibilities

  • Working with a team of medical expertsย toย safelyย transport customers to and fromย locations and facilities
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatchesย as described in the appropriate manuals,ย includingย allย FARย and Air Evac Lifeteam requirements, andย aircraft cleanlinessย duties
  • Maintainย accurateย Air Evac Lifeteam and regulatoryย documentation andย record keeping
  • Effectively communicate and collaborateย with dispatch, flight crews,ย facilities,ย and partners
  • Provide shift change infoย to successive pilotย andย team followingย protocol forย recordingย Air Evac Lifeteam change boardย details
  • Accountable toย maintainย requiredย certifications and ongoing training

Minimumโ€ฏRequirements

  • Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
  • Helicopter instrument rating
  • Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
  • 2,000 Total Flight Hours
  • 1,500 Helicopter Hours
  • 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
  • 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
  • 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
  • 230 lb Weight Limit (including flight gear)
