We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team at Tidelands Physical Therapy Center located in beautiful Punta Gorda, Florida. Work Environment

This position is onsite in our outpatient office, where you will work 40 hours each week, Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their functional and rehabilitation needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments, in coordination with physicians’ directives.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to treat patients across various specialties, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine fields.
  • Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions and employ modalities designed to relieve pain and restore function.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment techniques, expected outcomes, and self-management strategies to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document patient progress rigorously in our electronic health record system, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team aimed at maximizing patient rehabilitation outcomes through effective communication and strategic care planning.
  • Achieve minimum utilization goals while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and customer service.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be treating a diverse range of patients, from active seniors recovering from joint replacements to young athletes aiming to return to their sport after an injury. Your compassionate approach will assist in building meaningful relationships with patients, allowing them to engage fully in their recovery process and exceed personal functional goals.

Qualifications
  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Active state license in Physical Therapy in Florida.
  • CPR Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
  • Proficient in digital documentation and familiar with common software systems used in healthcare.
  • A strong commitment to fostering community relationships to enhance patient care and outreach.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting.
  • Prior experience in outpatient therapy specifically targeting orthopedic and sports medicine cases.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
