Description:

Gormanโ€™s premier home furnishings retailer has an immediate opening for a Store Warehouse Associate position. This position is responsible for assisting with various duties at the Troy main store.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

- Light property maintenance including daily recovery of sidewalks and parking lot and interior warehouse.

- Daily trash collection within the building.

- Receiving and shipping UPS, and Federal Express packages.

- Pulling and prepping inner store merchandise transfers; receipt and ticketing of incoming merchandise.

- Assisting with customer pickups.

- Assisting store management with furniture assembly and movement of same in store and with hanging artwork.

- Replacement of interior store lighting.

- Assisting store designers with moving furniture in the store for customers.

- Other merchandise support services on an as-needed basis.


Requirements:

Applicants will be required to undergo and pass a background screening, a pre-employment physical, and a drug screen.

Store Hours are as follows but the schedule will be determined by Store Manager:

Sunday 12 pm-5 pm

Monday 10 am-6 pm

Tuesday 10 am-6 pm

Wednesday the store is closed

Thursday 10 am-6 pm

Friday 10 am-6 pm

Saturday 10 am-6 pm
