Material Handler
Mesa,AZ
Are you an experienced warehouse professional looking for a hands-on opportunity in material handling? This Material Handler position offers the opportunity to work with incoming and outgoing materials while utilizing forklifts, scan guns, and pickers. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring materials are handled and packaged safely and efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, organized, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse or material handling experience and is able to follow detailed instructions while working independently and as part of a team.
This position offers the chance to build your warehouse skills while contributing to a team that values service, quality, integrity, excellence, and teamwork.
Material Handler Job Duties:
  • Load, unload, and transfer materials to designated warehouse areas
  • Label and stock materials using scan guns, forklifts, and pickers
  • Inspect materials for damage or deficiencies before shipment or storage
  • Record material discrepancies according to company procedures
  • Prepare and maintain warehouse inventory
  • Pull materials from shelves according to ticket requirements
  • Respools and fills customer orders accurately
  • Organize and prepare materials for shipment
  • Follow ticket instructions and shipping procedures
  • Package materials properly to prevent freight damage
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including moving pallets and removing debris
  • Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions to management
Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm-11:30pm
Potential overtime available
Pay: $18.50 per hour
Material Handler Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
  • Forklift, picker, or scan gun experience preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong reading and communication skills
  • Good organization, planning, and time management
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Strong attention to safety and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
