Job description

The Role

We're looking for a Director, Daily Fantasy Cohort Growth to lead strategy, execution, and performance optimization across acquisition and media for our Daily Fantasy (DFS) business. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing data-driven programs that drive growth across the funnel.

This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role that will directly impact our DFS P&L. You'll partner closely with the CRM, Media, Promotions, Analytics and Product teams to shape and execute initiatives to drive new customer acquisition focusing on ROI.

If you thrive at the intersection of commercial strategy, media, customer marketing, and analytics - and want to help build the future of DFS with one of the most recognized sports brands in the world - this is the role for you.

What You'll Do
  • Lead cohort growth strategy: Own the end-to-end strategy for growing and maximizing value from player cohorts across from Awareness through to day 14
  • Drive commercial outcomes: Develop and deliver programs that directly impact awareness, consideration, NGR, LTV, and retention goals for the DFS business.
  • Optimize player journeys: Identify friction points and opportunities across the acquisition funnel and early life
  • Incentives & personalization: Partner with centralized growth function to work through what the right growth incentives are to drive highest ROI
  • Champion data-driven decisions: Use cohort analyses, behavioral data, and predictive models to inform strategy and prioritize initiatives.
  • Collaborate across the business: Serve as a critical bridge between Marketing, Product, VIP and Analytics to align on goals, share insights and execute plans.
  • Test & iterate: Build a robust experimentation roadmap with analytics team to continually refine programs and tactics, leveraging test-and-learn to drive improvements.
  • Forecast & report: Build forecasts for cohort growth and contribution to NGR, and regularly report on performance to executive leadership.
  • Develop gaming national ecosystem strategy: Work alongside free to play, sportsbook, prediction market and online casino business to develop a eco-system cross sell and plans
What You Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in growth, media or commercial strategy, ideally within online gaming, daily fantasy, sports betting, or digital entertainment.
  • Proven track record of driving customer value and retention through targeted, data-informed initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of player segmentation, incentives, churn prevention, and monetization strategies in a digital or regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in cohort analysis, LTV modeling, and building business cases.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills - able to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across diverse teams.
  • Experience managing large-scale, complex programs with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

Depending on the role, your interview and onboarding experience may include in-person components, such as onsite interviews or Launching into Better: LIVE-a multi-day cultural immersion in New York City for full-time, non-seasonal hires. These sessions are designed to build connection and bring our culture to life, though specific travel and participation requirements will be confirmed based on your role and location. Your recruiter will provide clear guidance at each stage of the process.
