Job description

Summary

NCC is looking for a Part-time associate to be a part of our mission-driven team, where you can make a meaningful impact on the community while leading with a heart for God. We are dedicated to fostering a positive environment for staff, volunteers, and customers as we serve our community with love, compassion, and faith in all aspects of NCC's mission and vision.

Regular Saturday hours plus other flexible days.

Essential Functions

  • Donation Processing: receives and organizes donations
  • Assists with inventory-related tasks to ensure efficient operations
  • Organizes merchandise and ensures that shelves are well-stocked
  • Back-up for front-end cashiering and sales floor
  • Ability to fix items and build furniture by instruction
  • Ensures the safety and security of the store, staff, and customers at all times
  • Evangelism: desire to share your faith and inspire your team, volunteers, and customers in Christ

Qualifications

  • Born Again Christian walking faithfully with God, has a personal testimony, and lives a consecrated life devoted to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • Retail and stocking experience preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Capable of handling items weighing upwards of 50lbs during store operations
  • Able to move around the store lift, sit, stand, and walk without impediment

These positions report directly to the Thrift Store Manager and works closely with all ministry leaders, pastors, and support staff.
