Job description

The Waterfront Rescue Mission, recognized in 2025 as one of the Best Christian Workplaces in the country, is hiring a positive, highly productive, safety-minded and team oriented Sales Associate! Sales Associates provide fast, friendly, and accuratecheck out services for our customers using computerized cash register systems.Basic math skills, accuracy, and a sense of urgency are important. Cashiers aretasked with bagging their customers' orders and helping shoppers find items inthe store. Your outgoing personality will be a plus! Store hours are 9am - 6pm Monday - Saturday and closed on Sunday.
This is a part-time position working up to 29 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
  • Cash Handling - register operations to process transactions and refunds. Ensure keying accuracy and accurate drawer reconciliation per Waterfront Rescue Mission (WRM) policy.
  • Customer Service - Follow customer service guidelines per WRM policy.
  • Store Recovery - Recover store or area at end of shift.
  • Perform all reasonable job duties as assigned by Store Management.
