IMMEDIATE HIRING FOR MACHINE OPERATORS IN SAN DIEGO !!!

1st & 2nd Shift Available

Responsibilities

  • Operate various types of production equipment
  • Use electric drills, wrenches, and various hand tools
  • Utilize properly calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and other dimensional inspection tools to verify part quality.
  • Perform dimensional inspection of parts to confirm compliance with drawings, tolerances, and quality standards.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles and practices to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols at all times.
  • Work effectively in a repetitive, high-volume production environment while maintaining focus on safety and quality.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve machining challenges, support tough setups, and ensure production goals are met.

Essential Skills

  • Experience operating production machines
  • Proficiency in basic math to perform measurements, calculations, and interpret dimensions.
  • Ability to read and write at a High School level or equivalent to comply with written instructions and complete departmental paperwork.
  • Skill in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, and other dimensional inspection tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.75 - $23.75/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
