Compensation
The base hourly rate for this position is $19.51.
General: Assists in setup and operation of the cuffer machine.
Sets up and operates a cuffing machine - asphalt/kraft facing rewinding equipment. Uses overhead hoists to move master rolls and finished rolls. Threads, splices, and adjusts machine to specific product. Responsible to make machine adjustments and edit out raw material to produce quality product. Uses calculator for basic math to calculate daily production. Completes daily production reports. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Responsible for meeting daily production standard Perform 5S functions and clean while machine operates. Use air hoists and vacuum plate to load rolls onto pallets. Label finished production with product labels. Uses safe working practices and always reports hazardous conditions. Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
