If you are a hands-on manufacturing PRODUCTION OPERATOR WITH CNC and Tool & Die Experience and 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing plant (see below for more details)--this 2nd SHIFT role in the La Vista, Nebraska, area could be an excellent opportunity for you!

What We’re Looking For:

  • Associate’s degree or completion of an apprenticeship in Machine/Tool and Die Technology (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to set up and operate both conventional and CNC equipment.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in a similar role
  • Experience working in a quality-focused setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be PERMANENTLY eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship at any time as none is or will be available.

Responsibility Summary:

  • Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and make necessary adjustments.
  • Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on mills, lathes, and drill presses.
  • Support and sustain 5S, quality, and safety initiatives.
  • Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on material or workpieces.
  • Calculate and set controls for speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth/angle of cut, or enter and edit computerized machine control programs.
  • Verify finished workpieces against specifications and perform trial runs to confirm settings or programmed data.
  • Assemble parts into complete assemblies and verify dimensions and alignment.
  • Collaborate with engineers, production staff, and programmers to resolve machining or assembly issues.
  • Build fixtures for drilling, milling, and turning operations.
  • Review engineering, sales, and manufacturing inputs for accuracy and communicate any needed corrections to maintain consistent quality.
