Job Summary:  

Perform a wide variety of manual labor to support departmental needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Work eight to twelve hours a day
  • Work on weekends
  • Work any shift
  • Duties may include assisting with movement of pipe, application of thread compound and protectors, coupling pre-buck on, loading material onto line, offloading material from line, monitoring control panels and automated movement of pipe, racking/in-racking of material
  • Mark pipe with status code or stencils approved by others
  • Clean area
  • Loading and unloading material from pallets and recording units of goods moved or unpacked
  • Stocking shelves
  • Practice and enforce safety policies written
  • Shipping/Receiving
  • May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of departmental objectives and to develop one's skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements: 

Education: High School or equivalent years of experience

Years of Experience:  0-1 years’ experience working in a pipe and tube manufacturing environment preferred.
