Job Summary
Reporting to the Head of Credit Risk & A/R Administration, this senior leadership role is responsible for managing NestlΓ©'s comprehensive Supplier Credit Risk Management framework. The role assesses and identifies vendors with credit risk profiles that could potentially disrupt NestlΓ©'s supply chain. This includes applying advanced financial analysis and risk scoring methodologies to evaluate and mitigate supplier credit risk. The role is accountable for supporting supply chain continuity through strong risk governance, policy compliance, and cross-functional partnership with Procurement, global stakeholders, and business leaders. This leader will also help drive continuous improvement and digital innovation to strengthen the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of supplier credit risk processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee ongoing credit and financial risk monitoring for approximately 30,000 vendors worldwide
  • Manage the Supplier Credit Risk Management framework to assess and identify vendors with potential credit risk that could disrupt supply chain continuity.
  • Use financial analysis and risk scoring methodologies to evaluate supplier credit risk and inform risk mitigation actions.
  • Collaborate with Direct and Indirect Procurement leaders across markets to mitigate supplier risk and develop contingency strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with NestlΓ©'s Global Vendor Approval Policy (VAP) by partnering with global HQ and cross-functional stakeholders on governance and execution.
  • Support the technology roadmap/blueprint to advance digital innovations that improve speed, accuracy, and quality of credit risk analytics and processes.
  • Set strategic priorities and operating standards for supplier credit risk activities to ensure consistent execution, clear accountability, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to team members while fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and continuous improvement-focused culture.
  • Translate complex supplier risk insights into clear recommendations for senior leaders to support timely decision-making and risk mitigation.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on high-impact supplier risk matters by influencing stakeholders, escalating critical risks, and supporting resolution of complex issues.

Requirements and Minimum Education:
  • BA or BS degree in Business (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Accounting), Supply Chain Management, or a related field that produces Credit Risk Management subject matter expertise required.
  • Advanced certifications (MBA, CFA, CPA) are preferred
  • Additional experience driving project-based initiatives to successful and on time outcomes, including projects requiring collaboration with multiple peers in cross functional teams and/or third-party service developers/providers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications

Experience and Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience in Credit Risk Management, Supply Chain Risk, Investment Banking, or related financial risk management capacities
  • Experienced people leader with demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and advise team members and stakeholders through subject matter expertise.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills. Able to clearly articulate ideas and consistently lead stakeholders and alignment and agreement
  • Experience conceptualizing and then leading the development and use of business intelligence dashboards, such as Power BI or similar tools is preferred
  • Strong industry network comprised of business intelligence, technology, and academic peers to ensure innovative industry best practices
  • Collaborative experience with Supply Chain, Procurement based functions is preferred
  • Proficient in SAP, or similar ERP systems

  • Deep understanding qualitative and quantitative financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, geopolitical, and the impact of currency and commodity volatility.
  • Excellent financial and risk analysis skills, including the successful negotiation of confidential financial information from the Executive Finance leaders of our Suppliers
