Title: Senior Power Market Analyst

This Senior Power Market Analyst supports critical investment, acquisition, development, and commercialization decisions across East Point Energy's utility-scale energy storage portfolio. This role combines power market analytics, quantitative modeling, market intelligence, and strategic thinking to identifyopportunities and maximize project value.The successful candidate will analyze energy, capacity, and ancillary service markets; assess regional market dynamics; evaluate storage revenue opportunities; and support investment decisions across East Point'sprojectportfolio.The position reports directly to the Director of Business Development and will collaborate with a variety of internal and external parties.

Weanticipatehiring for this role atthe Analyst or Senior Analyst level.Final title, career level, and compensation willdepend on the candidate's experience, capabilities, and overall fit for the role.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform meticulous data synthesis and analysis to provide insightful, data-driven recommendations and reports to stakeholders
  • Conduct market research toidentifynew renewable energy deployment pathways and opportunities
  • Leverage results of real-time asset performance to inform future investment opportunities
  • Support the development and management of financial models for renewable energy assets using various financing structures
  • Manage relationships and engagements with third party consultants who deliver market and ad hoc analyses
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned

Compensation &Benefits:

  • Compensation for the Senior Power Market Analyst role includes a base salary range of$108,000 - $130,000annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. This range reflects the target level for this hire; however, we may consider candidates at other career levels depending on experience. Final title and compensation will bedeterminedbased on qualifications, relevant experience, and internal equity.
