Daily responsibilities often include troubleshooting client systems, maintaining secure infrastructure, and working closely with both internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure technology aligns with business goals. Familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, as well as version control systems like Git, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, is commonly required. Excellent problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and effective communication skills help developers collaborate seamlessly and deliver robust solutions. These skills and qualities are crucial to efficiently build, maintain, and scale modern web applications in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

It can include methodologies, software platforms, data analysis tools, and collaboration systems that together help teams brainstorm, prioritize, and execute ideas efficiently. The concept is often used in innovation management and digital transformation to ensure that thinking processes are scalable and aligned with business goals.

Be part of a team that's transforming work into something amazing.

At Tennessee Cheesecake, we're on a mission to create delicious desserts - and a better way to work. We're building a lean culture that values people, learning, and daily improvement. If you're excited about being part of a team that is always looking for ways to make things better, we want you on board.
Why Join Us
We believe standards, steady routine and daily improvement build strong people. At Tennessee Cheesecake, we create desserts that are enjoyed nationwide while running a bakery where every shift is a chance to learn and get better. Our lean culture thrives on small, consistent improvements every day. We challenge each other to think, share, and to take on challenges that push us beyond yesterday's limits. If you value routine, standards, and personal growth, this is where you can thrive.

What You'll Do

As a Production Associate, you'll rotate through a variety of roles in our baking, packaging, and dishwashing departments. Every day brings a chance to learn something new and improve how we work together. Tasks include:

  • Operating food processing equipment
  • Folding and assembling boxes
  • Removing baked product from cake pans
  • Washing dishes and production tools
  • Packing and stacking finished product
  • Following hygiene and safety procedures
  • Participating in continuous improvement. We encourage team members to make small improvements every day - just 2 seconds faster, simpler, safer, or smarter

Why Work Here?

  • First Shift: 7:00am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime and seasonal schedule changes.
  • On-the-Job Learning: No experience in food manufacturing? No problem. We'll train you.
  • Growth Opportunities: Clear paths to more responsibility and leadership for those who show initiative.
  • Positive Culture: We take pride in our teamwork, celebrate daily wins, and recognize improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: We're committed to making work better - for our customers and our people.

We're Looking For Teammates Who...

  • Enjoy fast-paced, hands-on work
  • Are curious and eager to learn
  • Bring a positive, solution-focused attitude
  • Want to be part of a team that supports one another
  • See problems as opportunities to improve

Experience in warehouse, food service, restaurants, or manufacturing is a plus- but not required. No prior experience is required; however, we receive a high volume of applications and select candidates based on overall fit, availability, and alignment with team needs.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old
  • Able to follow food safety and hygiene procedures (no jewelry, false lashes, nail polish or false nails, etc.)
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime and weekends during busy seasons
  • Must pass a drug and background check, and complete a successful paid trial shift
  • Essential functions of the role include: Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 30lbs; ability to push and pull loaded racks; frequent bending, stooping and reaching; repetitive use of hands and arms; ability to stand and walk throughout the shift; ability to perform physical job duties in a manufacturing production environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $19.57/hour starting wage
  • $700 sign-on bonus after 90 days with excellent attendance
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Paid holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and more)
  • A culture of daily improvement and empowerment
