Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify the needs and strengths of each client, ensuring a thorough understanding of their mental health history and current challenges.
  • Develop structured and goal-focused treatment plans tailored to meet individual client needs, using evidence-based approaches to address both mental health and substance use issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress, utilizing enterprise-grade electronic health records (EHR) systems to document client interactions and treatment history.
  • Adjust treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and client feedback, ensuring that each session remains relevant and impactful.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care and share insights to enhance treatment efficacy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPCC, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds grappling with mental health disorders and substance use challenges. You will help guide clients through their recovery journeys, offering compassionate support and evidence-based interventions that promote healing and resilience.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the state of California.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in therapy practices.
  • Proficient in using telehealth systems and digital documentation, showcasing adaptability and skills in managing online client interactions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, able to connect with clients and build therapeutic relationships effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Familiarity with addiction treatment practices and resources.
  • Prior experience working in a remote setting and utilizing telehealth systems to engage with clients.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time LPCC position ranges from USD 115,000 to 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
