Description

The Thermoformer Operator is responsible for the operation and quality of products produced 
by the Thermoformer machine.
 
3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 11:00pm - 7:00am
Pay Rate: $22.75 per hour plus $2.10 shift differential
Weekly Pay with Paid Breaks!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Understand machine mechanics and are able to resolve basic technical problems 
    independently.
  • Identify E-stops and safety sensitive areas.
  • Assist the Maintenance team with preventative maintenance assignments.
  • Read and comprehend work order producing order to proper specification. This includes, but 
    is not limited to, dimensions, pallet configuration, labels, machine run speed, roll size, 
    perforation location, box quantities, etc.
  • Complete quality check sheet after every roll and/or per required frequency ensuring 
    products are measured and tested to identify any potential defects.
  • Complete job setup or changeover on the machine with no supervision following standard 
    work procedures.
  • Practice safe behavior with regards to equipment and tasks.
  • Maintain budgeted scrap levels.
  • Maintain inventory control by counting inventory, scanning rolls, and consuming material in 
    D365.
  • Perform data entry in the Production Data Entry (PDE) system.
  • Conduct proper housekeeping per 5S handoff audits to ensure a clean and organized 
    workspace.
  • Understand raw materials and finished goods part numbers.
  • Ability to operate different machines within same product group.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of machine operation experience required.

Skills/Competencies
Language & Communication:

  • Must be able to read, speak, and write English with good interpersonal skills. To include 
    reading and comprehending work instructions, safety rules.

Technical:

  • Must be capable of using a computer to perform data entry and printing functions.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
  • Must be able to use hand-held devices.
  • Must be capable of reading a ruler and performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division calculations.

  • Work is performed by using both hands and arms while in a standing position for the

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 20lbs. and overhead on occasion.
