What is a therapy ranch?

A therapy ranch is a specialized facility that uses ranch or farm environments to provide therapeutic experiences for individuals dealing with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges. These programs often incorporate animal-assisted therapy, outdoor activities, and structured routines to promote healing, personal growth, and skill-building. Job description

About Our Organization

This position supports one of the trusted behavioral health programs within the Advanced Recovery Systems family. Advanced Recovery Systems is the parent organization of The Recovery Village, Promises Behavioral Health, The Right Step, and The Ranch, bringing together established treatment brands with a shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based addiction and mental health care.

While you may work primarily with a specific facility or brand, you'll be part of a larger, growing organization dedicated to improving patient outcomes, supporting our employees, and strengthening the communities we serve.

At The Recovery Village, we believe recovery is possible for every individual facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. Our accredited treatment center provides compassionate, evidence-based care in a collaborative environment where clinicians are empowered to make a meaningful difference every day.

If you're passionate about behavioral health and are looking to grow your clinical expertise alongside a supportive leadership team, we'd love to connect with you.

Intake Specialist / IOP Therapist (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT)

This unique hybrid role combines clinical assessment, patient engagement, and therapeutic services. The primary focus is completing internal and external referral assessments and intakes (typically up to three per day), while maintaining a small caseload of patients and providing group therapy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly or recently independently licensed therapist who wants to continue building strong assessment, treatment planning, individual, and group therapy skills. You'll receive mentorship and support from an experienced Program Coordinator while becoming an integral part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical team.
