Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position that emphasizes flexibility while adhering to a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with us, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and challenges.
  • Developing personalized therapy plans tailored to each client’s specific objectives and circumstances.
  • Facilitating engaging therapy sessions through various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and relational therapy.
  • Tracking and documenting client progress meticulously in an electronic health record system, ensuring accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation.
  • Collaborating with fellow therapists during case reviews and team meetings to enhance the therapeutic approach and improve client outcomes.
  • Staying current with best practices in mental health through participation in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and couples facing challenges related to relationship dynamics, stress management, anxiety, depression, and more. We treat clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique stories and experiences. Understanding their specific cultural contexts is essential to offering effective support.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.
  • Active and valid licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
  • At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, providing mental health therapy to clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with clients through empathy, active listening, and trust-building.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems is a plus, enhancing case management and communication.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working with a diverse clientele, including families and couples.
  • Knowledge of and experience with teletherapy practices and digital health interventions.
  • Specialization in relevant therapeutic approaches, such as trauma-informed care, mindfulness, or couples therapy.
