Job description
STANDARD HOURS/WEEK:45 (approximate), typically Monday-Friday during standard business hours; however, the schedule is largely dictated by client needs and will include long days, evening hours, and weekends.
CLASSIFICATION:Full-time, Exempt
TRAVEL:Work will be primarily out of the branch, and at client locations. Out of town travel due to client needs may be required, depending on job specifics.
JOB SUMMARY / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAt The ACME Corp, we customize solutions to fit the client’s needs and the Sales & Service PM is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of sales projects, from initial customer contact to successful project closure. They collaborate with subject matter experts, vendors, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are aligned with the company's overall sales and project goals, delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction. Customer relationship management is an important aspect of Sales Project Management including building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring they are satisfied with the project outcomes. As a Sales Project Manager you will be responsible for the project planning and execution, including developing project plans, defining project scope, identifying resources, and allocating tasks. An aptitude for coordinating with various internal departments and external partners to ensure project execution, tracking project progress, identifying potential risks, providing regular updates to stakeholders, addressing project challenges, finding solutions to ensure projects stay on track, and minimizing delays are the main goals for maintaining a positive customer experience.
Ultimately, the Sales Project Manager must perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent problem solving and decision making skills, while consulting with internal subject matter experts as needed. This position is required to record hours accurately using the company timeclock system, and to submit complete expense reports on time.

QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ years of experience in Customer Service/Sales related roles
- At least one year of technical theater experience.
- Computer literate and comfortable using a computer and smartphone for various tasks.
- Preferably proficient in Google Workspace (formerly known as G Suite). Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, Wrike, and/or Odoo a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and practices preferred.
- Preference given to those with a proven ability to safely run, maneuver, navigate, and drive vehicles or mechanized equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, personnel lifts, passenger vehicles, and box trucks.
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work in schools and military installations without restrictions required.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the job summary above and meeting the physical requirements below.
- General understanding of theatrical systems and installation including theatrical terms such as XLR, DMX, etc. Priority given to those with in-depth knowledge in at least one of the following: rigging, lighting, audio, video.
- Knowledge of counterweight and motorized rigging systems, lighting, audio, and video equipment.
- Able to understand and discuss space and project requirements, and be comfortable working with a client to determine their needs and potential solutions.
- Possess a working knowledge of project management fundamentals such as planning, execution, monitoring, and risk management.
- Understanding of basic business/sales terminology such as the difference between a quote and a sales order.
- Possess good judgment, sensitivity, analytical skills, and the ability to prioritize and problem solve. For this position a love of puzzles and researching answers to common issues is a must.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Skilled at managing multiple complex projects simultaneously while completing tasks in a timely fashion.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to be clear and concise via phone, email, and in person.

- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes.

This position requires employees to work in a wide variety of work environments including in extreme heat and cold. Loud noises, both sustained and sudden, are common in some environments. This position also works in a typical office/retail environment where frequent interruptions are common.
