| Work Environment | Theatre, concert halls, event venues | Theatre, concert halls, event venues |
| Industry Usage | Installing and operating rigging systems | Installing and managing electrical systems |
| Primary Focus | Safety and operation of rigging equipment | Electrical setup and troubleshooting |
While both Theatre Rigging and Stage Electricians work in theatrical environments and require safety training, rigging specialists focus on installing and operating rigging systems for scenery and equipment, whereas stage electricians handle electrical systems and lighting.
