JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse and storage yard by safely receiving, storing, tracking, and shipping customer equipment and materials. This role helps maintain inventory accuracy, supports efficient warehouse operations, and upholds ProLift Rigging's commitment to safety, quality, and exceptional customer service.
As a full-service rigging, transportation, and warehousing provider, ProLift Rigging supports mission critical projects across industries including construction, manufacturing, energy, and data centers. The Warehouse Associate plays an important role in ensuring customer assets are received, protected, and delivered with accuracy and care.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warehouse Operations
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
  • Ensure all customer equipment and materials are handled safely and stored according to company and client requirements.
  • Verify incoming shipments for quantity, condition, and documentation accuracy.
  • Coordinate outbound shipments, transportation schedules, and project deliveries.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are properly labeled, tracked, and staged.

Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Inventory Management Systems (IMS) through QuickBase.
  • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Generate inventory reports and provide updates to management and customers as needed.
  • Monitor storage utilization and recommend improvements to warehouse efficiency.

Safety & Compliance
  • Champion ProLift Rigging's safety culture and ensure compliance with all company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in safety meetings.
  • Ensure proper use of forklifts, lifting equipment, rigging gear, and material handling equipment.
  • Support compliance with OSHA regulations and applicable customer requirements.
  • Immediately address unsafe conditions and behaviors.

Customer Service & Communication
  • Serve as a point of contact for warehouse-related customer requests.
  • Ensure customer equipment is stored securely and handled professionally.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for receipts, shipments, inspections, and inventory transactions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience.
  • Experience operating forklifts and warehouse material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read shipping documents, bills of lading, packing lists, and inventory reports.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly; heavier items with assistance or equipment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work both indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and industrial environments.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in industrial warehousing, construction, rigging, heavy haul transportation, or related industries.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Experience handling large industrial equipment and project cargo.
  • Knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy lifting operations.
