Job Title: Party Host / Concessions & Front of House Cashier


Position Summary

Party Hosts / Concessions & Front of House Cashiers are the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in creating a fun, welcoming, and organized experience at the Family Entertainment Center (FEC). This position combines excellent customer service, cash handling, food and beverage service, and party coordination. Team members are responsible for maintaining a clean, friendly environment while assisting guests with admissions, ride tickets, concessions, and special events.


Key Responsibilities

Front of House & Cashier Duties

  • Operate all aspects of the point-of-sale (POS) system, including cash and card transactions, scanners, and ticketing systems.
  • Accurately process sales for ride tickets, attractions, food, beverages, and merchandise.
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Answer guest questions and provide clear directions using knowledge of the facility layout, attractions, and policies.
  • Greet guests warmly and maintain a positive, welcoming presence at the front counter.
  • Maintain a clean and organized register and lobby area at all times.

Concessions Duties

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to company standards and food safety guidelines.
  • Restock concession items, supplies, and displays as needed.
  • Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of concession areas including counters, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.

Party Host Responsibilities

  • Host birthday parties and group events, ensuring guests have a fun and memorable experience.
  • Greet party families and guests, explain party schedules, and assist throughout the event.
  • Set up and decorate party rooms before events and clean and reset rooms afterward.
