Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor - Whitewater, WI


The Fairfield Inn & Suites in Whitewater, Wisconsin is looking for a dependable, energetic Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor to help support our housekeeping team and maintain the high standards our guests expect.


This is an excellent opportunity for a strong housekeeper who is ready to take the next step into leadership while continuing to work hands-on alongside the team.


What You'll Do
  • Assist with leading and supporting the housekeeping team
  • Help inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality
  • Assist with daily room assignments and housekeeping priorities
  • Help train and support new and existing team members
  • Work alongside the team, including cleaning guest rooms when needed
  • Communicate room status and maintenance needs with other hotel departments
  • Assist with linen, supply, and inventory organization
  • Help maintain brand, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Step in to help lead the department when the Housekeeping Supervisor is unavailable
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-focused work environment
What We're Looking For
  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
  • Leadership experience is a plus, but we're willing to develop the right person
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done
  • Dependable, organized, and able to keep things moving in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with a team
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Requirements

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach over shoulders repetitively.
  • Able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to effectively interact with Team Members and guest.

Must be available weekends and holidays.

Education/Experience

Comparable hotel size and scope of experience preferred

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Our hotel functions seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
