Living Resources is seeking Direct Support Professionals for our Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady & Saratoga County Group Homes. Our Direct Support Professionals support individuals in our Group Homes with their daily activities, including personal care. Direct Support Professionals work closely with the individuals we support to help them achieve personal goals that allow them to live as independently as possible.

We understand that working one-on-one with people who have disabilities, helping them in all aspects of daily life, takes a special person - someone who's dedicated, caring, patient and compassionate. Our employees find a sense of purpose in their work, knowing they're providing peace of mind to families.


All Shifts available:

Full-time, Part-time and Light Part-time - Weekdays & Weekends - Day hours, Evening shifts & Awake/overnights.


Requirements

We would like to speak with those that are:

  • Passionate about making a difference
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Have flexibility to work varying hours and to support other locations
  • Have a Valid NYS Driver's license and a HS Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to perform all tasks which require lifting, re-positioning and transferring without restriction
