Job description

Pony Bird, Inc. is looking for Direct Support Professionals - MA1, for our new Respite Program in Mapaville!

We provide comprehensive, high-quality supports and services for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in a fun, enriching, and supportive environment.

This new position focuses on providing respite supports with dignity and respect and supporting individuals with developmental, physical, and medical needs. Direct care will be provided if an individual does not possess the skill necessary to complete the task or to meet the need. Staff in this position are required to demonstrate warmth, insight, interest, and respect for the Individuals with disabilities.

PAID TRANING

GREAT BENEFITS

Schedule and Hourly rates:

Day Shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Hrly Rate: $20.00/hr

Overnight Shit 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Hrly Rate $21.00/hr

Schedules include Every Other Weekend

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma / GED
  • Must complete required training classes within DMH/Licensure timelines.
  • Complete and maintain First Aid/ CPR/ AED certification and other DMH/Licensure training/certification requirements through the duration of employment.
  • Must successfully complete the Pony Bird Level I Medication Aide program approved by the State of Missouri for medication administration, having an acceptable score on the written and clinical examinations and having received certification as Medication Aide, the employee is qualified for this position.
