Clubhouse Manager
Hours are 11:00am - 8:30pm with one hour break, earlier shift 8:00am - 2:30pm on Sundays
This position must be available to work weekends.
Did you know that River Landing at Sandy Ridge is the only senior living community in the Triad with a regulation 9-hole golf course? Our golf course features a clubhouse with two dining venues; The Overlook, that offers a casual dining room, and The Hilltop Pub, which highlights pub house favorites.
We are currently looking for a Clubhouse Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, strategic planning, and quality control of the clubhouse’s food and beverage department. The position balances hands-on hospitality, staff management, financial oversight, and event coordination to elevate the resident and guest experience. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years’ related experience in an upscale environment (Private club, resort and/or hospitality experience).
Key Responsibilities
  • Operations amp; Quality Control
    • Oversee daily bar and dining service, including inventory management (spirits/wine) and curated beverage programs.
    • Maintains high standards for food service, ambiance, safety, sanitation, and facility maintenance.
    • Establishes and enforces departmental policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance metrics.
  • Guest Relations amp; Experience
    • Regularly greets residents and guests to monitor service quality firsthand.
    • Resolves customer complaints efficiently and collaborates with the Dining Director on corrective actions.
    • Develop innovative initiatives to boost resident engagement and participation in club events.
  • Staffing amp; Professional Development
    • Manages long-term staffing schedules and recruitment needs.
    • Designs and implements onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development for the team.
  • Financial amp; Strategic Planning
    • Enforces revenue and cost-control procedures to protect the department's bottom line.
    • Contributes to marketing and promotional strategies for clubhouse dining.
    • Participates in high-level committee meetings (Long Range Planning, Admissions, and Finance) as required.
  • Event Coordination
    • Collaborates on the planning, integration, and execution of banquets, social events, and special club functions.
