Job description

The Inn at Gristmill Square in Warm Springs, VA is looking for one general maintenance worker to join our team. Our ideal candidate is extremely handy, has great attention to detail, attentive, motivated, works well with others, and is personable and friendly.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and facilitate maintenance and repairs to include, but not limited to, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tile work, etc.
  • Proactively maintains the property by fixing any issues that arise both inside and outside
  • Able to perform grounds maintenance duties such as wedding, mulching, raking, gardening, etc
  • Works to ensure safety regulations are met
  • Replace air filters as needed/directed
  • Cleanout kitchen grease trap as needed/directed
  • Provide exceptional customer service


Qualifications

  • Experience working in maintenance
  • Capable of learning new skills quickly
  • Knowledge of landscaping
  • Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
  • Able to use hand and mechanical tools to ensure safety and completion of tasks

We are looking forward to hearing from you. This is a full time position that will work 32-40 hours per week. Some weekends required as this position/department operates 7 days a week.
