What You'll Do
Epic Games is seeking a Senior Game Designer, Activities Design to join our dynamic team and contribute to various aspects of objectives and encounter design for our collaboration with Disney. In this role, you'll leverage your experience, design tool expertise, and a sense of gameplay to elevate the game's quality and delight players with fresh experiences.
In this role, you will
  • Drive objectives and encounters to advance the project's gameplay and in-game progression
  • Deliver varied and scalable content across worlds to enhance design velocity as the project grows
  • Quickly iterate on encounter and objective design elements while upholding the high Epic quality standards on a project of this scale
  • Shape compelling and replayable experiences that align with Epic and Disney's long-term gameplay vision
What we're looking for
  • Minimum of 4+ years' experience shipping multiple AAA titles as a game designer
  • Proficiency in using major game engines (e.g., UE5)
  • Visual scripting experience is a must
  • Deep experience in PvPvE objective and encounter design, crucial for the project's evolving scope
  • Demonstrated ability to improvise and creatively solve problems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs
