Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • To provide a professional approach to work concerning areas such as attitude, dependability, and appearance.
  • To process customer purchases through cash register, including proper handling of pricing, coupons, rain checks, and cheque authorization.
  • To provide a level of service to all customers that meets the Co-operative's standards in courtesy and efficiency.
  • Assistance in the planning and organization of merchandise displays for regular stock as well as for special sales and promotional events.
  • To maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Ability to work with co-workers and public.
  • Must have the desire to learn and perform duties with minimum supervision after training period has been completed.
  • Energetic, upbeat nature
  • Must be bondable.
