Job description

Position: Warehousing Clerk-Junior
Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Pay Rate: $17/hr. On W2(No Benefits)
Contract: 6 Months

This is a part time non-exempt temp position. This role is responsible for the proper performance and efficient operation of the following functions: cleaning and disinfecting medical devices to reduce any bio burden, inbound receiving of goods, outbound shipping to internal and external customers, and maintaining accuracy of inventory. All activities must be in compliance with regulations associated with GXP, Transportation and Import/Export.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepare outbound shipments for internal customers and for external customers both domestically and internationally. Box, palletize, wrap, strap and apply appropriate shipping labels.
2. Fill inventory stocking requests and complete par level stocking of the warehouse floor as needed. Ensure accuracy of inventory in stocking locations by verifying quantities on hand, completing cycle counts and batch reconciliations. Notify Inventory Analyst of any discrepancies.
3. Properly move and store inventory to maintain good housekeeping and clear areas timely to reduce congestion and maintain segregation of any non-conforming inventory.
4. Ensure training is completed on time and all certifications are up to date.
5. Perform projects as assigned by management.
