Description:

The Continuous Improvement and Training Supervisor is responsible for driving operational excellence in the Arhaus Supply Chain through employee development, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role leads training programs, onboarding processes, standard operating procedure (SOP) development, and change management efforts associated with new systems, technologies, and operational processes, both new and existing. The supervisor partners closely with departments across Arhaus to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and customer service objectives.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


Key fundamental skill sets for this role will be:

  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive training programs for departments across the Arhaus Supply Chain, including Distribution Center Operations, Inventory, and Safety.
  • Facilitate the creation and presentation of training and education materials, including but not limited to both process and function standard operating procedures (SOPs), new system and/or supply chain process rollouts, and onboarding experience materials.
  • Ensure onboarding materials, training experiences, SOPs, and other process documentation are reviewed and updated regularly.
  • Provide training and education insight for the implementation and adherence to Supply Chain policies and procedures, both proactively and from requests from Supply Chain partners.
  • Lead Supply Chain continuous improvement initiatives, as well as root cause analysis and solutions where applicable.
  • Support the Arhaus team in defining, implementing, and championing Arhaus culture, policies, values, and vision towards continuous improvement, customer service, and fiscal responsibilities.
  • This role will work cross-functionally with departments across Arhaus including Accounting, Buying, Compliance, Customer Service, Final Mile, Planning, Store Operations, and Distribution Center leadership and associated teams.

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership, problem solving, people skills, and cross-functional team experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of one year of progressive leadership experience.
  • Experience developing training, education, and/or improvement projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering, problem solving, facilitation, and content review.
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve with minimal supervision while determining appropriate resources and information to use.
  • Ability to interact with individuals at all professional levels as well as non-exempt associates.
  • Excellent training and presentation skills.
  • Ability to plan and manage effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP.
