  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with AIM, Category Management, Merchandising, Marketing, and division teams to support advertising and promotional strategies.

  • Assist in vendor and internal coordination efforts to help support competitive product costs, promotional funding, Temporary Price Reductions (TPRs), and Every Day Low Cost (EDLC) initiatives.

  • Facilitate endtoend ad program support, including reporting, billing accuracy, deal management, and documentation.

  • Support clear, professional communication with internal teams and AWG member retailers regarding advertising programs, deadlines, and program requirements.

  • Maintain organized records, trackers, and systems to support departmental processes and audit readiness.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the AIM function.

  • Participate in limited travel related to industry events, AWG food shows, division visits, and vendor partner meetings as needed.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.

  • 1-3 years of experience in administrative support, marketing coordination, merchandising support, or a related business role.

  • Experience working in a matrixed, teamoriented environment preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with reporting tools a plus.

Success Factors

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and details with accuracy.

  • Selfstarter mindset with a willingness to ask questions, learn quickly, and take initiative.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and with external partners.

  • Detailoriented problem solver who can identify issues and escalate appropriately.

  • Collaborative team player who supports shared goals and demonstrates flexibility in a fastpaced environment.

  • Interest in retail, advertising, merchandising, and continuous professional growth within AWG.
