POSITION SUMMARY:

Focus Interpreting is looking for a talented English - Thai Simultaneous Interpreter to join our team. In this role, you will provide real-time simultaneous interpretation services at conferences, business meetings, and other events, ensuring effective communication between English-speaking and Thai-speaking participants.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide simultaneous interpretation for English and Thai speakers during various events, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Utilize relevant technology and equipment to deliver high-quality interpretation services consistently.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interpreting assignments.
  • Prepare for assignments by researching specific terminology, context, and background information related to the event.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional improvement in language proficiency and interpreting methods.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Fluency in both English and Thai, with excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Demonstrated experience in simultaneous interpretation, with comprehensive knowledge of the techniques involved.
  • Adeptness in understanding and navigating cultural nuances for effective communication.
  • Strong listening and analytical skills to ensure accurate and efficient interpretation.
