DescriptionThe accessibility student assistant will provide clerical support to the accessibility coordinator, support with test proctoring and other supports needed by peers who are registered with the accessibility office. This position is designated for student employment and is anticipated to begin at the start of the
Fall semester. Examples of DutiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities: - Review and check the test request form daily
- Assist with processing student test requests.
- Assist with proctoring student tests.
- Support individual students regarding using Microsoft to access accessibility items.
- Support students in using technology such as OneDrive
- Help organize and create resources that can be used on the Accessibility office share drive
- Help organize and plan different activities for students, such as Autism Awareness Month and disability awareness month
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Other Duties and Responsibilities: - Attend FERPA and HIPPA confidentiality training.
- Maintain compliance with all accessibility policies and procedures.
- Proctor tests

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: - Current Freshman or Sophomore student at TSCT.
- Prior related work experience helpful, but not required.
Supplemental InformationWork Environment and/or Physical Demands:- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
- Conditions may require walking or bending to file.

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to navigate to greet and welcome testers.

Required Training and Other Conditions of Employment: Student worker will meet with Accessibility Coordinator for an orientation related to job duties. Student will be trained on FERPA and HIPPA regulations and will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
