Job description

Description
TGS Technology LLC is seeking a highly motivated DevSecOps / Cloud Security Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines across hybrid environments. This role focuses on integrating security practices into cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD workflows to ensure reliable and secure application deployments.
The engineer will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to build scalable cloud platforms, enforce security best practices, and support compliance initiatives aligned with industry standards such as SOC 2 and FedRAMP.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures in AWS, including VPC networking, subnet segmentation, security groups, and IAM least-privilege access models.
  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) to ensure consistent and secure infrastructure deployments.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Git, integrating security checks and automated infrastructure provisioning.
  • Manage and secure Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, implementing RBAC access control, namespace isolation, and container image lifecycle management.
  • Configure and maintain network security controls, including firewall policies, VPN connectivity, and secure network segmentation between on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Install, configure, and harden Linux and Windows servers according to security best practices and organizational policies.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and security scans using tools such as Nessus and Nmap to identify and remediate infrastructure and network vulnerabilities.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT-based access controls for applications and microservices.
  • Monitor infrastructure health and security posture using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Splunk.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents related to authentication, networking, SSL/TLS certificates, and system performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to enforce security best practices across DevOps workflows, ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.
  • Document architecture designs, operational procedures, and security remediation processes to support operational excellence and compliance requirements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Security Engineering roles.
  • Experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
  • Knowledge of network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins and Git.
  • Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) and secure authentication mechanisms.
  • Experience with security monitoring, logging, and incident analysis.
