About ATAC

Textron Systems - ATAC provides tactical flight training and adversary aggressor services for U.S. Navy, Marine and Air Force pilots. ATAC operates simultaneously across eight sites and two continents and comprises the world's largest outsourced civilian, tactical airborne training organization and proudly provides the highest quality live training to Squadrons, Air Wings, and Battle Groups.

Job Summary:

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for Aviation supply chain optimization projects that strategically align supply chain initiatives with other related Company operations. Working across multiple teams, this position will have the responsibility for the creation of supply chain data gathering processes and methods to enable business decisions and meet customer service requirements. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop or implement and track metrics to generate reports for supply chain performance
  • Provides support to internal departments by communicating trends in cost, quality, or purchase order status
  • Responsible for oversight of supply consumption and inventory levels and development of strategic supply plans
  • Implement requirements and standards (e.g. procurement, shipping, etc.)
  • Analyze, optimize, and oversee inventory procedures.
  • Understand and comprehend FAA requirements with aviation supply management   
  • Build and maintain a collaborative partnership with Program Management, Operations, and Contracts departments on the evaluation of new and existing material components in support of product upgrades
  • Participate in specifications development parts, equipment, consumables, etc. Support the sustainment department through innovative processes
  • Ensures on time delivery by expediting suppliers as required. Ensures that supplied items are delivered on schedule, at the negotiated terms, and meets the quality standards of the company
  • Must be familiar with aviation MRO's and be able to communicate with suppliers using standard aviation maintenance terms 
  • Education Required: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experience (type and length) required: Ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years of related experience with Aviation Supply Chain, or Advanced Procurement, or Commercial Contracts background. Military aviation supply chain experience preferred
  • Excellent written and oral skill are required
