Job description

We are seeking a results-driven Textile Engineer to join our Mount Holly, NC manufacturing facility. This is a high-impact, hands-on engineering role supporting production efficiency, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across the operation.

Youโ€™ll work closely with Operations and Maintenance teams to design, install, improve, and maintain equipment and facility systems while promoting safety, quality, and productivity. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys being on the manufacturing floor, solving problems, and leading by example.

What Youโ€™ll Do

In this role, you will:

ยท Support efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems

ยท Evaluate the work environment to ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards

ยท Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs

ยท Improve and utilize work order systems to ensure timely equipment repairs

ยท Coordinate projects with Operations to meet priorities and timelines

ยท Troubleshoot and improve facility systems (boilers, compressors, motors, HVAC, pumps, etc.)

ยท Design, quote, and build equipment, fixtures, and process aids (structure, wiring, sensors, processes)

ยท Modify existing equipment to meet evolving production requirements

ยท Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and company policies

ยท Promote a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment

ยท Communicate effectively with all departments and external partners

ยท Maintain regular and predictable attendance and meet performance standards

Required Qualifications:
