Job description

Warehouse Associate

At Standard Textile, we're dedicated to providing comfort and care across generations. The Warehouse Associate will assist in warehouse operations, including receiving, storing and distributing product.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Receive and verify incoming product; enter into computer system.
  • Load and unload shipments.
  • Stock product.
  • Accurately pull and pack orders for both shipping and will call customer pick-up.
  • Assist in counting of physical inventory.
  • Utilize shipping software to prepare outbound shipments.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including a forklift.
  • Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for all associates.
  • Sweep, dust or mop the warehouse area as needed.
  • Count, verify and receive inventory into computer system
  • Sort and place product in proper rack locations
  • Move bales of fabric, cases of finish goods, and any other necessary items between processes, to and from storage, and to and from shipping areas with a lift truck
  • Supply cutting with all bolts necessary for cutting as bolts list arrived as wo's are printed.
  • Provide material needed as requested to cubicles sewing, bedding sewing and quilting area.
  • Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications Include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to bend, lift/stretch, move, up/down, loading/unloading, stand and carry up to 50 pounds for entire shift.
  • Ability to work overtime as necessary.
