Job description

Position: Program (Center) Manager
Company/Location: Kentucky River Community Care/Hazard, KY
Employment Type: Regular Full-Time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm (some evenings if needed)
Credentials required: High School/GED
Special skills: Management skills, organization and problem-solving skills, motivated, multitasker. Computer/typing skills.
Primary Functions:
  • Day-to-day operations at the Adult Day Training Center. Coordinate day training activities and community engagement.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and evaluate staff, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Program policies.
  • Paperwork completion for billing purposes, complete weekly schedule for center activities and staff.
  • Work with Nurse to ensure all medical appointments and needs are met. Provide structure to clients and staff.
  • Attend Plan of Care Meetings. Ensure staff are up to date on training. Communicate with guardians and Case Manager regarding client needs.
  • Cook, clean, and help staff implement daily tasks according to Plan of Care. Knowledge of participants with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities.
