Job description

Job title: Hardware Engineer

Job location: Edison, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US. Travel and relocation required. International travel is not required. Travel is limited to domestic travel to various LTTS and client facilities based on project needs.

Job duration: Permanent position, Full time, Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week.

Number of positions: 5.

Salary and Benefits: $139,797.00/year + Paid Leave, Health Insurance, Group life insurance, Disability, 401(K).

Job description: Research, design, develop, or test hardware and hardware systems. Write detailed functional specifications that document hardware design and development process and support hardware introduction. Specify power supply requirements and configuration, system performance expectations, and design specifications. Confer with engineering staff and consult specifications to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of overall system. Perform functional, integration, and system level testing.

Education and experience required: Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field, plus two years of engineering experience. The two years of experience must include one year of experience using Zuken, Communication protocols: UART, I2C, SPI, USB and CAN, LTspice - Analog Devices, TINA - Texas Instruments, LabVIEW, MPP Microsoft Project Plan. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation required. International travel is not required. Travel is limited to domestic travel to various LTTS and client facilities based on project needs.
