The Role
We're looking for a Regulatory Compliance Engineer to join our Regulatory Compliance team and help ensure our products meet global certification standards.
This role supports compliance testing and certification for products such as smart water, gas, and electric meters, AMI smart points, in-home displays, street-lighting systems, and network communication equipment.
It's an excellent opportunity for engineers with a strong electrical, systems, or hardware background who want to grow their careers in regulatory engineering, product testing, and global product certification while learning from experienced engineers.
What You'll Do:
  • Support the development of regulatory compliance test plans and test setups for products requiring certification (EMC/EMI, wireless, safety, etc.).
  • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, mechanical, and R&D teams to understand product designs and compliance requirements.
  • Help identify and interpret global regulatory standards including CE, FCC, RED, and other regional certifications.
  • Participate in hands-on testing activities, including RF characterization, wireless performance testing, and EMC/EMI assessments.
  • Support testing activities in internal labs and coordinate testing with third-party certified laboratories.
  • Analyze test results and contribute to technical compliance reports.
  • Help maintain product certification documentation and compliance records.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving product compliance issues.
  • Support lab equipment calibration and maintenance to ensure accurate test results.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline (or equivalent practical or military training).
  • 1-5 years of engineering experience in testing, design, systems, hardware, RF, or a related technical field.
  • Interest in regulatory engineering, compliance testing, or product certification.
  • Experience using electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, analyzers, or signal generators.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical standards and compliance requirements.

Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to EMC/EMI testing or electronics lab environments
  • Familiarity with RF systems, wireless technologies, or power electronics
  • Experience with test documentation or lab management tools (Jira, TestRail, Confluence, etc.)
  • Participation in product design reviews or FMEA processes
