Job description

  • Hands-on experience testing Health and Human Services (HHS) systems, with a strong focus on Integrated Eligibility (IE) rules testing across public assistance programs, including Cash Assistance (TANF) and Food Assistance (SNAP).
  • Prior experience with Benefits issuance and eligibility determinations.
  • Demonstrated ability to review and interpret functional specifications, system requirements, and other design documentation
  • Proficient across testing phases, including test planning, execution, and closure, and experienced in multiple testing types such as integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Demonstrated experience testing batch processes including benefit issuance, interfaces (flat files and SOAP UI), data conversion, reports, notices, and security roles.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for test case creation, test execution, defect creation, and requirement traceability.
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to write and modify SQL queries to support test scenarios and database validation.
  • Knowledge with back-end validations and comparing data from legacy and modernized systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment and prioritize effectively to complete tasks on time and with quality.
  • Validate testing scenarios including front end, as well as back end such as nightly, weekly, and monthly batch processes, including file creation.
  • Validate benefit calculations, issuance schedules, payment methods/outputs, and eligibility outcomes.
  • Coordinate interface testing for inbound and outbound integrations involving eligibility data exchanges with external interfaces and downstream benefits issuances.
