Reliability Engineer (Vendor)

Pay Rate: $40-45/hr. W2 MAX
The Reliability Operation team is looking for a Rel Testing Engineer to work with reliability engineering and other XF teams toward a robust and reliable product design, ensuring we have the highest quality products for our customers. In this role, the qualified candidate will be a hands on, skilled electro-mechanical testing engineer capable of supporting the testing for engineering and compliance team to conduct internal testing for design validation and worldwide product certification.
The work:
Responsible for creating engineering test setup, data collection, and documentation.
Conduct internal validation testing throughout product development.
Follow test plans for engineers to generate data out
Maintain the Procurement, inventory of all laboratory tools, and supplies.
Debug and rework Mechanical and Electronic parts
Support compliance and environmental certification testing
Minimum qualifications:
3+ years of hands-on lab technician experience with electro-mechanical lab equipment: environmental chamber, vibration tester, shock tester, oscilloscope, microscope, Instron, strain gauge, accelerometer, etc.
Preferred qualifications:
Desired BA/BS or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics or related fields.
Ability to read and interpret simple schematics and mechanical drawings.
Ability to cope with challenges of a fast paced work environment.
Ability to design test fixtures
Ability to disassemble/assemble consumer electronic devices.
Familiar with failure analysis techniques.
Good documentation and communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Experience with servers a big plus.
