Location: Santa Ana, CA

FLSA Status: Non-exempt, Full- Time

Schedule: Cohort B — Monday through Thursday, 10:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Job Summary:

The Test Technician is responsible for performing testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical systems to verify performance and ensure compliance with quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

· Acceptance testing activities for one or more product lines per released procedures

· Adapts to different test levels from lower-level Assemblies (Digital, Analog and RF) to box and system level.

· Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans from Engineering to perform routine testing, check-out and troubleshooting functions of a simple nature.

· Performs routine operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment to ensure conformance with final product specifications.

· Diagnoses and isolates malfunctions down to component level.

· Conducts defined tests and collects data as assigned.

· Able to work with PCs and applications such as Windows and other related software.

· Assist with companywide tasks.


Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

· Two or more years of hands-on experience, either professional or gained through technical school/lab work, in testing and troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems, with familiarity using common test equipment and tools.

· Willing to learn, on the job training opportunity.


Physical Requirements:

· Ability to stand for long periods and occasionally lift to 25 lbs.

· Manual dexterity to handle small components and operate equipment.
