Job Title: Test Technician Senior (Secret Security Clearance)
Location: 9801 Muirlands Boulevard Irvine, CA 92618
Shift: 1st 5am - 1:30pm (Mon-Fri) Duration: 6 Months Note: Qualified candidates will have 8+ Years of direct experience in Environmental, RF, Microwave and RADAR compliance testing. JOB SUMMARY
• The Senior Test Technician Specialist performs complex evaluations, testing, troubleshooting and repairs on production and customer returned electronics assemblies and subassemblies. • Create detailed reports on customer return units and assist with Quality and Engineering with failure analysis reports to identify root cause. • Assists in the creation and maintenance of repair procedures as required in support of product or process improvement initiatives. • RF testing and theory are essential to the job as well as performing the vital duties listed below. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, systems and subsystems by executing the essential functions listed below:
• Extensive knowledge of RF/Microwave communication subsystems, filters, antennas, radar, motors, and electronic control systems is required.
• High performing individual capable of troubleshooting to component level on complex electronic circuits.
• Must be able to perform evaluations and repairs on field returns that include detailed failure analysis reports.
• Performs Environmental, Vibration, Shock and Acceleration testing to MIL Standards.
• Vast experience with RF/electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, RF generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc...
• Develop understanding of operation and parametric behavior of RF components.
• US Citizen and Secret Security Clearance required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree at a four-year College or technical school and 8+ years firsthand experience in Environmental, RF, Microwave and RADAR compliance testing. A degree in Engineering or technical field is preferred.
