ITT Corporation is pursuing an enthusiastic Brake Dynamometer Test Technician, to support setup and execution of dynamometer brake tests within R&D and OE projects, ensuring accurate execution and reporting of results.As a leader in the industry, ITT considers testing of its products a foundation to product development and customer support. Acting in this role, the dynamometer test technician will receive the support of a multi-functional Research & Development team to achieve the following job responsibilities: 


  • Operate Link Software and test lab equipment, supports builds and tear down dynamometer test configurations, ensure tests run to the proper parameters. 
  • Prepare test samples and hardware, and perform initial, intermediate and final measurements on tested components.
  • Assist with internal fabrication projects (e. dyno fixtures).
  • Support VLM management.
  • Perform preventative maintenance for dyno lab equipment and tools.
  • Support shipping/receiving of testing components and office supplies.
  • Support laboratory process flow and scheduling.
  • Help maintain a safe and organized work environment

Position Requirements:

  • Good interpersonal/communication skills. 
  • A self-starter, who is able to work in teams or who can operate independently. 
  • Passionate desire to work in “Hands-on” situation in a fast paced environment. 
  • Strong capabilities in the MS Office programs. 
  • Minimum Education Requirements -Technical School (AA Desired) or Equivalent 
  • Precision and dedication to details 
  • Practical experience utilizing general testing equipment and tools (data acquisition systems, thermocouples, accelerometers, microphones, etc.). 
  • Strong prioritizing, organization, mechanical and mathematical aptitude

The salary offered to a candidate is based several factors such as candidate experience and qualifications, location, as well as market and business considerations.
Salary range $56,900 - $85,100 depending on experience, plus benefits including PTO.
