Job Summary:
Continental Resources is seeking a Senior IT Security Analyst who will be responsible for engineering and administration of IT Security systems. The role involves monitoring system and network logs for threats, ensuring compliance with security policies, and collaborating with various IT functions to protect company data.
Responsibilities:
• Supports operational implementation requirements ensuring compliance with information security policy, standards, guidelines.
• Reports any threats, misconfigurations or anomalies and assists with remediation.
• Utilizes new technologies and processes to enhance security capabilities and implement improvements.
• Develops automated processes to improve efficiency and detection using existing and open-source tools.
• Ensures timely reporting and remediation of discovered security issues.
• Works with others to help remediate security incidents.
• Conducts frequent testing of simulated cyber-attacks to identify vulnerabilities and subsequently remediate vulnerabilities.
• Keeps up with evolving risks, new developments in the security industry and industry best practices.
• Supports the development of Analysts and Associate Analysts by sharing knowledge and providing guidance.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• High School Diploma (or GED)
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience working in an IT Security or related role
• Strong understanding of security threats and incident response.
• An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
• Experience with XSOAR Automation or equivalent tool
• OT Security experience
• Scripting/coding experience
