Job description

The Work: We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), automated and regression testing efforts across application releases. This role partners closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional requirements and are release-ready.
Job Location: This is a fully remote role which may require occasional travel to the DC Metro area as needed for onsite client meetings. Preference to candidates located within the Washington, DC Metro area.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, validating that system requirements are met prior to release
  • Execute manual and automated test cases, including functional, regression, and release validation testing
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated testing scripts using established testing frameworks
  • Support release validation by verifying defect fixes and confirming readiness for production deployment
  • Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, partnering with development teams through resolution
  • Create and maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, execution results, and release sign-offs
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
  • Analyze test results and provide clear status reporting to stakeholders

What You Will Bring With You:
  • Active Top Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility
  • 5+ years of experience in QA, UAT, or software testing roles

What We Would Like You To Bring With You:
  • Hands-on experience with UAT support, test case execution, and regression testing
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks
  • Proficiency with Jira or similar defect tracking tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines in Agile environments
  • Strong experience creating and maintaining test documentation and artifacts
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
